Writing Center Appointment

Tomorrow at Noon I have an appointment with a writing center consultant to go over a few of my things for the report I have for my english class. It isn’t a big deal and honestly, I don’t really need it but my professor has made it mandatory so I am not about to disobey and get a 0 on that whole thing.

Hopefully it goes well enough and I get the thumbs up that I need. Then I have to write an evaluation on the experience, not a big deal and I am ready.

100k+ Pages Indexed?

I wish I was talking about this blog but there is no way there is a 100,000 pages here on the blog. But I am talking about my forum. At Gamers-Forum.com, Google shows over a 100,000 indexed pages in their search.

I have seen some datacenters show over a 140,000 listings so that is just incredible news. Google has finally caught up with the amount of data and information we have and I couldn’t be happier of that.

I know there are a few good commenters but slowly, about 90% of our received comments are spam. I am hoping to lower the number by having people register. I am sorry to those that post legit comments but I have been given no choice.

Error

No this post is not an error but if you ever wanted to know about the error codes you get in your computer such as Error Code 17 then all you have to do is visit the PC Library web site and look it up and see what it says about the code. I don’t know about you but I don’t always know what an error code means if I get one on my computer.

40 Weeks of SOTWs

We are actually accepting entries for the 4th sig of the week competition at Gamers-Forum.com. I can’t say how proud I am of the forum doing this for so long. We have been going at it for 40 Consecutive weeks which is over 10 months.

Hopefully another 10 will be here for our 50th SOTW which will be a huge landmark. And hopefully another 50 won’t be too far off before we’ve been doing this for a full 100 weeks. Not many forums even exist at that level.

Web Host Release Delayed

I told you about my new web hosting company to be a few weeks ago. I was actually looking to release today but due to complications in my personal life as well as the personal life of my business partner. Sad to say that you have to wait a bit longer to be hosted by us.

But hopefully we can get this started by next week. Our deadline is by the beginning of October. There really isn’t a DEAD LINE but it is just a date we set in order to reach our goals. Wish us luck with the release.
